GRIMDARK: Early Mothtown Review

It’s at this point in the publishing process when I wear an almost permanent grimace. Early review time. It can be shocking. It can be brilliant. It can be brutal.

And we have to eat it all up, word by word.

But “haunting, atmospheric and wonderfully uncanny”? Hell yeah. I’ll take that.

Grimdark Magazine has just published its review of Mothtown. It’s one of the earliest I’ve seen (following on from The Fantasy Hive’s thoughtful review), and thankfully it’s a good’un.

“Caroline Hardaker’s Mothtown is haunting, atmospheric and wonderfully uncanny. It is a novel unlike any other, tiptoeing that fine line between obsession and the supernatural with great skill, leaving the reader feeling uneasy until the very end. […] I am sure that Mothtown is a story that will stick with me for a long time to come.”

If you want to read what comes in the proverbial ‘…’, read the full thing here.

And if you can – please do pre-order your copy of Mothtown. You’ll be one of the first to receive the book, and it definitely helps get the word out there.
