Join us on 13th August – ‘Being a Writer’ Panel

Just a quick one from me!

Fancy joining a safe space to discuss your writing career and work? A day to identify the things you value as a writer, to craft your bio, and to find out how to maximise your own personal time to become the writer you were born to be?

Well you’re in luck!

As part of their Summer School on Friday 13th August, the Northern Writers Studio is hosting a ‘Being a Writer’ workshop. It’s the perfect opportunity if you’re figuring out how to speak about your work or wondering how to position yourself as a writer commercially – and you’ll also be sent a pack of brand questionnaires, a content calendar and useful resources that you can use after the session as you continue to explore your writing identity.

And as part of the afternoon panel, I’ll be there to discuss being a writer with Katie Hale and Lisette Auton, hosted by the always incredible Sarah Davy (who you might remember from my online launch for Little Quakes Every Day). We’ll also be answering your questions about the reality of being published, our multitasking lives, and how we balance all the things with all the things. It’d be lovely to see you there!

There are only a few spaces left, and fear not, you DON’T EVEN HAVE TO BE NORTHERN. I mean – it’s worth it just to take the opportunity to join some friendly northerners and chat honestly and openly about what makes us all tick and why we do what we do. How, when, and where we write. What our favourite pens are. All this and more!

Find out more via the Summer School programme.

Hope to see you there!
